Less patchwork and a cleaner result
Whole-room consistency
We bring adjoining walls to a balanced finish instead of chasing separate marks.
Details finished neatly
Reveals, openings and corners receive the same care as the main wall areas.
A clear work plan
We agree room access, protection and preparation before starting the job.
One consistent finish around the room
When several walls are uneven, patching each mark can leave a room with visible changes in level and texture. Room plastering gives living rooms, bedrooms and halls a consistent surface from one corner to the next. We inspect every wall before deciding what it needs. A sound background may only require preparation and skimming, while damaged or uneven areas may need two-coat plaster work. Where the background is unsuitable, plasterboarding can create the right base. We also consider window reveals, door openings and transitions to the ceiling, because those details frame the whole finished room.

Plan the room before we bring materials
Clearing furniture gives us space to work and helps protect your belongings. We'll agree the access route and discuss anything that cannot be moved before the job starts. Retained floors, sockets, radiators and fittings are protected as required while we prepare and plaster the surfaces. Many standard room projects fit into our usual one-to-two-day pattern, but wall condition, drying conditions and the amount of preparation set the final schedule. We'll confirm the plan after seeing the room, then leave the new plaster to dry before decoration begins.
Frequently asked questions
Does every wall in the room need to be plastered?
Not always. We inspect the condition and level of each surface. If some walls are sound, we can explain whether they can remain or whether plastering the complete room would produce a more consistent result.
How long does a standard room usually take?
Many standard room jobs take one or two days. The agreed time depends on wall condition, boarding or repair needs, room size and access. Drying continues after the active plastering work is complete.
What should we move before room plastering starts?
Remove smaller furniture, pictures, curtains and personal items where practical. Larger pieces may need to be moved away from the walls. We'll discuss access and protection for anything that must remain.
